Research proposed and new health and safety legislation, codes of practice, standards, health and safety risk assessment and control procedures and practices, technical developments, and best practice in order to:

Unit 3_Element 2.1
Develop appropriate systems for communicating health and safety information relating to input materials, goods, equipment, services, and resources bought in by the organisation covering:
a) Proactive monitoring
b) Health and safety performance initiatives
c) health and safety promotion activities
d) reactive monitoring.
a) Think about the goods, equipment, and services that your organisation uses. Tell your assessor what proactive monitoring is planned and completed. Tell your assessor why it is done.
Tell your assessor, how you use products that need certificates or data sheets. How is this information communicated within your organisation?

Confirm that the statutory reporting of the health and safety information required from the organisation to the regulatory and local authorities is carried out.

Confirm that the health and safety information of the organisation is communicated, where appropriate, to trade associations, voluntary bodies, interested parties and individuals.
